Snowy White Fluffy Cheerful Intelligent Devoted SAMOYED DOG with dark almond-shaped eyes appeared in frozen snowy Siberian tundra many hundreds years ago when it became the best friend and helper to Samoyed people living on this godforsaken land.

Such famous explorers as Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amudsen recruited Samoyed dogs for their own expeditions. Indeed, the first animal to reach the Pole was Samoyed dog!

Breath-taking beauty and tireless capacity for work of Samoyed dog stunned the travellers and they took some puppies with themselves – so Samoyed dog appeared in Europe and became immediately the popular favored accessory for aristocratic people. Samoyed dog became even the immediate recipient of royal petronage, enjoying the devotion of, among others, England’s King Edward VII and Russian Czar Nicholas!

Moreover almost every country has it’s own club and/or association of sled dogs fans organizing winter (Skijoring, Sledding/Mushing) and summer competitions.
