This is the fairy tale that is Summit. Novice owners asked me for a 'show dog.' I said if they gave me time, I'd give them the right dog. I began looking for that 'star.' They were such nice people and I wanted them to have a dog to really have a good time with!

I knew the Madonna and Siku breeding was going to be a fabulous combination both in pedigree, structure, genetics, and such BEAUTIFUL heads and bodies on both.

Too many breeders won't give good dogs to novices. No one wants to lose a valuable animal from the bloodline, but how can someone start without something competitive?

I knew Summit would give his owners a fun ride into dog showing!

As a puppy, Summit started throwing show stacks almost as soon as he could stand!

There's something so winning about a true 'samoyed' heart. This boy just 'loves' life and has the sunniest attitude. Divine temperament!

Of course he expects life to be 'just grand' all the time! Thank heavens he has the perfect home and his newly married owners give him the best in life. Somehow for some dogs, everything comes easily. Summit is one of those kind of dogs.

"Summit"  has also proven to be QUITE the show dog!

At a show on 'his' grooming table he'll throw his head up and 'woowoo' to all that he's arrived!

He expects to be groomed by his 'maids' (which include his breeder!) and to have only the very best handlers. He likes Linda Kitzman and Andrea Dunkle. The rest of us, well, can be his dressing maids and audience.

Summit's show career unfolded like a fairy tale. HOA Best in Sweeps. We kept him under wraps to a degree for his national debut. Grand Futurity under top breeder judge, Heidi Neiman, handled by Linda Kitzman. SCA 2005 RWD later in the week under Ed Bivin. Easy majors. Along the way was St. Cloud....BOB over specials and onto a Group 4. Easy championship. Then BISS at SAMS just before his 2nd birthday.

Summit is growing up to be quite the fairy tale come to life. He keeps getting better and better!

Clearances in place, Cerf Clear 2006, OFA Good, his first puppies were at Hawkwind on December of 2006.  We expect his sunny attitude, lovely coat and head type, and fabulous sidegait to carry his kids into the future of our breeding program.

Summit's first breeding is to our own CH Hawkwind's Emerald Jade.  11 puppies, (7 girls and 5 boys). On the Pack page click on any Emerald names to find those kids. Here are some kids sired by Summit.
