Onyx's Teal boy. From early on he was impressive. Taking the puppies for evaluation, Kay at Wolf River saw 2 steps and immediately said, "That is a show dog."

Residing in Minnesota, his owner wanted to be part of the upbringing of the babies and made several trips to help socialize and play with the them. We knew fairly early that the Teal boy would be hers. It doesn't always happen that way!

Growing up... Above at 7 weeks, below at 3 weeks.

At 8 weeks Nikko's leg length and proportion were impressive. An absolutely beautiful front end, and a rear to match, he showed great promise even at this young age.

His intelligence is easily seen in these young eyes.

Growing up....having the best of everything!

Chest, tuckup, legs, head, a gorgeous tail....and a sense of fun!

And when it's time to put the pool away....a truly sweet dog to live with!

This litter has such depth of quality. We expect Nikko to figure prominently in the future of Hawkwind.

Nikko's show career starts with two Best of Breed wins, both over specials with the second BOB over BISS winners! Then a nice major in South Dakota....halfway to his championship.

Nikko will be bred to Hawkwind's Painted Canyon Agate eventually. (Late 2008)
