PEDIGREE

From babyhood she was a 'deep' girl. Thought things out, connected strong, and bonds in a way you know she'll give you her life. And then some. This girl has a loyal and true heart.

In babyhood she placed her feet carefully, committed deeply, and shades of her beauty were there even at 6 week.

As an adult she has grown into the very definition of arctic beauty.

Light biscuit shading similar to Sandy. (Ridge has a dark side saddle and much more color.) It's just in the undercoat with some on the ears in Jade's case. In the body photo below she was a bit high in the rear due to her youth. This is at the national (thanks to the photographer Ben Salter in CA in October of 2003. Jade was 18 months old. Shown in BBE. We went 3rd behind the WB & Kay with Moonrise, a class that held some of the greatest young bitches in the breed.

SCA National 2003 on her way to 3rd BBE Bitch. 18 months.

Jade has her daddy's angles fore and aft, and lovely reach and drive. Nice neck (hard to see on this shot as I have her head up too high) and beautiful head and earset. Eyes are jet black lining with no breaks, and striking in their arctic beauty. (Well, I love my girl. I'll try not to be poetic.) Proper proportion of muzzle length and depth to back skull.

Proper pastern. Notice the chest depth and tuck up, as asked for in the standard. That is an arctic profile. In cattle judging the first thing they teach you is that the overall profile should be obviously the "breed" you are judging. In Sammies, you should have a tuckup and chest depth down to the elbow. The power that goes through the 'wheel' or into and behind the loin into the rear, need to have that type of formation. How many dogs are sausages? I don't mean the mane on a male. Look at the BODY. If it's a shallow chest and more body depth into the loin, it's actually OFF TYPE. Power won't go through the body as well.

SCA National 2004 on her way to an Award of Merit. 2-1/2 years old.

She is not perfect, but we feel she is one of the strongest arctic bitches we've produced....true Samoyed.

THIS is Samoyed expression! A happy girl who loves life!

Here she is in 2004, taking a top award in the breed under one of the very TOP breeder judges ....

Jade competing at Chicagoland; going Best of Opposite Sex under Judge Temple.

On December 3, 2004 Jade gave us 5 girls and 4 boys out of CH Wolf River's Chelestina Warrior.

This breeding offered a full Wolf River pedigree, bred by Wolf River, Seamist, and Hawkwind, linebred on Terra and her littermate, Thunder. Look under litters for more pictures, but here is the black girl at 3 weeks.
