Gracie flies around the ring for her first major under Nancy Liebes. We have never shown to this judge, but she seemed quite appreciative of good shoulders. Gracie is temporarily in MN and her first run for her championship didn't have any majors (she blew coat!), but she won almost every time, even to BOB over specials and a group placement. 

Grace is Hawkwind's Dark Journey into Grace, owned by Dawn Jones of Illinois. Congrats, Dawn and family! Gracie is having puppies this winter.

"Summer" goes into the ring for the very first time and is WB/BOW for a major! Thanks to Michelle for handling her to such a nice win for a little baby girl! Her name is Hawkwind's Sapphire Summer Sky; a Summit Sapphire daughter. We don't have any current pictures, but here she is at 4 months old...Photo by Kent Dannen. Summer garnered 3 points at Buckhorn Valley Kennel Club, Loveland, Colorado. Judge was Gary Newton.

Congratulations to the Piner's on their Storm's Winners Dog in Seward, NE as he closes in on his Championship...3 points to go! (Hawkwind's Garnet Storm) Clearances in place, Storm's first breeding has happened and puppies will be due in late May. His sister, Hawkwind's Silver Star Garnet, was Winner's Bitch at the 2008 SCA National.

Congratulations to the Oakman's on their new champion: Ch Hawkwind's Emerald High Peak. Copper finished taking another major under judge Sulie Greenvale-Pavenza.

Copper is Summit's 5th Champion; 2 from the Cuvee litter and 3 from the Emerald litter. One of each of those litters was Best Futurity Puppy at the 2007 and 2008 nationals. Annika, from the Emerald litter, is also a BISS (Best in Specialty Show!)
